Anti-corruption edttation is not only a measure to fight or prevent corruption in education systems and institutions, but also an effective approach to fight corruption in all scctors. Such programs can cover a wide range of ethical and moral issues, and can promote democratic values such as accountability, transparency, good citizenship and justice. Education as a preventive measure not only provides increased knowledge about the dangers of corruption and its many shapes, but it also creates awareness and empowers people to fight corruption with proved methods and useful tools. In pursuance of these goals TI Pakistan conducted a poster painting competition amongst children from CDGK schools in all the 18 towns of Karachi. 5 boys and 5 girls schools were selected from each town. Approximately 20 students took part from each school. A panel of judges adjudged the best essays from each school, town and the city of Karachi for both boys and girls.
