TI-Pakistan organized the 1st Inter School Debate competition under “Child’s View of Corruption (CVoC)” project on January 26, 2011 at Karachi Cadet School. The topic for this Debate was “We have a Democratic System but Not Democratic Values in which eight schools took part.

Renowned journalist & Member Editorial Committee Geo T.V, Mr. Nazeer Laghari was the Chief Guest. Mr. Abdullah Jamal who is the Vice President of University of Karachi’s Debate Council and Mr. Saad Ghouri, Vice President, Mohammad Ali Jinnah University’s Debating Society were the Judges for the competition.

Mr. Abdul Rafay (Educators), Ms. Afifa Khanum (Educators) and Mr. Sarim Ahmed (Aga Khan Higher Secondary School) were declared as the winners while the Consolation Prize was won by Ms. Mariam Syed of Charterhouse Public School. The event was attended by approximately 100 people including the observer from National Accountability Bureau (NAB) - Sindh, Col. (R) Najm ul Hasan, Acting Director, Prevention & Awareness.
